Hannah the tour guide was fantastic , she really bought the tour to life being able to see the photos of all the places and people involved was brilliant. we would definitely recommend the tour I learnt lots but the information wasn't just dates times etc , Hannah explained it all in detail asked us questions and feedback. only tiny miniscule gripe is would of preferred to be taken back to meeting point as would of been able to get back to our hotel easier but I'm being picky. book it request Hannah you will love it.

we absolutely loved our jack the ripper tour experience with our guide jack (he was much less scary than the real jack)! he knew his stuff very well.. and brought humour and fun to a heavy topic. he gave us detailed history of each case, in the relevant locations. he even told us about some theories of who the ripper actually was. we really liked that he ended the tour on a positive note, acknowledging that the most important thing is the lives and identities of the women lost, and not the identity of the ripper himself. we really enjoyed the two hours, and even got a drink at the pub where the tour ended, which was one of the relevant locations, as told to us by jack. highly recommend and thankyou so much jack!

I am a huge true crime aficionado and was really looking forward to this experience for a few weeks. Finally, I managed to make it for this tour on a Sunday evening in Janaury. Our guide, Hannah, was really funny and knowledgeable, answering a lot of our additional questions. The streets of Whitechapel may look different today, but she managed to recreate the spooky atmosphere of the 1880s to such an extent that I was quite scared on my walk back to the metro station.. I highly recommend this experience to learn about a very different, darker and grittier part of London beyond the Downtown Abbey world.
