London: Jack the Ripper Museum Tickets

Once you have seen the murder, meet the murderer by visiting Jack the Ripper's sitting room, complete with medical instruments, books, maps, letters, and a fascinating collection of weird and wonderful Victorian Ripper memorabilia. Pride of place goes to prime suspect Walter Sickert’s original drawing of the body of a woman on a metal bed, appropriately signed in red ink. Inspect the From Hell and Dear Boss letters, as well as original newspapers and police artifacts. See the whistle that P. C. Watkins blew to call for help when he found the body in Mitre Square, together with his notebook, handcuffs, and truncheon which are on display to the public for the first time. In the attic of the museum, you'll see a recreation of Mary Jane Kelly’s bedroom, the scene of the Ripper’s most horrific murder. Experience how his victims lived and hear the life stories of the women he murdered. This poignant and moving room displays domestic photographs of the women and their families, boots, bonnets, a metal-framed bed with a straw mattress, and the meager possessions of poor Victorian East End women. Finally, if you dare, enter the morgue, where you can study the actual autopsy photos and read the reports of the horrific mutilation and murder of the 9 women that fell victim to the Ripper's knife.

we absolutely loved our jack the ripper tour experience with our guide jack (he was much less scary than the real jack)! he knew his stuff very well.. and brought humour and fun to a heavy topic. he gave us detailed history of each case, in the relevant locations. he even told us about some theories of who the ripper actually was. we really liked that he ended the tour on a positive note, acknowledging that the most important thing is the lives and identities of the women lost, and not the identity of the ripper himself. we really enjoyed the two hours, and even got a drink at the pub where the tour ended, which was one of the relevant locations, as told to us by jack. highly recommend and thankyou so much jack!

Hannah the tour guide was fantastic , she really bought the tour to life being able to see the photos of all the places and people involved was brilliant. we would definitely recommend the tour I learnt lots but the information wasn't just dates times etc , Hannah explained it all in detail asked us questions and feedback. only tiny miniscule gripe is would of preferred to be taken back to meeting point as would of been able to get back to our hotel easier but I'm being picky. book it request Hannah you will love it.

Our guide Connor was great. He spoke clearly and distinctly, so that I could understand the most important things due to my lack of basic knowledge of English. He took a lot of time with us and the connection experience in the dungeons was awesome. Here, too, people understood that to a large extent and a certain creep factor was guaranteed. Can only recommend.

I enjoyed the tour big time! Nic is an excellent guide! So passionate and expressive - a great storyteller! Im a big fan of truecrime and certainly wasn’t disappointed! Haven’t even noriced when the two hours passed:) highly recommend!

The tour far exceeded my expectations. Rob is a fantastic guide. His knowledge on the subject is impressive and the way he delivered this was faultless. I thoroughly recommend the tour and feel fortunate to have had Rob as the guide.
