Marvel at the famous “dreaming spires” and visit the Bodleian Library - one of the oldest libraries in Europe. While you are in Oxford you cannot miss the opportunity to visit Christ Church. Not only is it one of the largest colleges at the university, it is also one of the major locations from the Harry Potter films. The traditional university towns make a better impression

When booking this excursion you should be aware that you can only get a small impression of both cities, as you spend 6 out of 10 hours on the bus. Nevertheless, this day away from London is definitely worth it. Incidentally, the included lunch consists of a bottle of water, a sandwich and a bag of chips from Subways - not bad, but should be mentioned in my opinion so as not to arouse false expectations.

We have been on many tours over the years and lots in the UK but none as bad as this tour. The guide Dolly was so rude to everybody on the tour, it was all about her and how great she was for going to Oxford Uni, we were very late leaving London, there were not very good toilets at the bus station before we set off then when we had to make a detour half an hour out of our way to get a microphone for our guide to only use for ten minutes. we were rushed off the bus at Cambridge and flew through the chapel then onto the bus again. When we got to Oxford where we were rushed through the streets to then stand for twenty minutes in front of a building to listen to our guide talking about something not relevant to the building. then she met up with friends of hers and then she left us standing by our selves for ages while she chatted away wasting our short time in Oxford. She didn't even point out the Bridge of Sighs. she left two people behind because we left five minutes early.
