From Victoria Falls: Livingstone Island Tour & Devils Pool

1. From Victoria Falls: Livingstone Island Tour & Devils Pool

Relax as you are taken by minibus across the border into Zambia to the Royal Livingstone Hotel for a detailed safety briefing before a 5-minute boat ride to Livingstone Island. Your guide will navigate through the Zambezi River current heading towards the column of spray rising from the Falls. Once you get to rocky Livingstone Island, the staff will welcome you with a traditional African energy drink. Your guide will take you first to the eastern side of the island to view Rainbow Falls and the Horseshoe.  Discover the island’s western side to see the Main Falls, where you’ll enjoy the magnificent torrent of water cascading over the basalt edge of the falls.  This unique view of Victoria Falls offers a perspective completely different from that of the Zimbabwean side of the canyon. As the morning sun hits the mist rising from the falls, expect to see stunning rainbows. Have the chance to swim in the Devil's Pool, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Your guide will lead as you swim upstream in a slow current. Sit at the edge of the falls and Devil's Pool, gazing at Victoria Falls, as immense water torrents flow just feet away.  When you return to Livingstone Island, fill up on a traditional bush breakfast before your journey back to your hotel.

Chobe: 2-Day Mobile Camping Safari

3. Chobe: 2-Day Mobile Camping Safari

Combine a visit to Chobe National Park with an exploration of Chobe River on this 2-day camping safari for the perfect budget wildlife experience.   You’ll be picked up from your hotel and make your way through Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park. Explore the wildlife of Chobe on a riverboat, offering spectacular views of the river and grassland flood plains. This will be followed by a 4x4 game drive safari where you can see the large concentrations of animals who will be grazing and drinking water. Admire the spectacular sunset over the fields for a perfect end to the day.   Spend the night in a tented camp in the wilderness of the Chobe National Park. Your cook will prepare typical “bush cuisine” on open fires for dinner.   The second day will be full of more game drives and wildlife explorations. All game drives will take place in 4x4 safari vehicles with local Botswanan guides who will offer their excellent knowledge of the area. At the end of the second day, you’ll make your way back to Victoria Falls and Livingstone where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

From Livingstone: Victoria Falls River Safari

4. From Livingstone: Victoria Falls River Safari

Discover the upper Zambezi River on a specially designed propeller-free safari boat that can operate in water as shallow as 20 cm. This increases the operational range to as close as 200 meters from Victoria Falls and allows you to cruise to amazing parts of the Zambezi that have previously been out of reach. Enjoy the thrill of speeding over rapids, before you slow down to spot game around the islands. Enjoy exceptional service, a spirit of adventure, excellent bird and game viewing, and extraordinary photographic opportunities. Your boat will have cushioned seats and is equipped with a bird book and route map for your convenience. An experienced skipper will lead your safari and share interesting information about the river, the wildlife you see, and the history of the area.

Booked the sunrise to sunset tour to chobe national park so that I could get in early before the crowd. Got to see zebras on the way. There is no lion in Chobe National park. If you must see, don't choose here. Got to see giraffes, elephants, hippos, impalas and gibbons everywhere! The sunset setting on the river was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic experience would love to do it again! The guides were superb I loved every minute of it & really exhilarating swimming across the river to get to the pool, then once there wow what a view! A second guide brings cameras in dry bag & will take the pictures for you then warming cuppa & food afterwards.

Velmi příjemná a obohacující plavba po Zambezi, výborná atmosféra, spousta informací, skvělé občerstvení. Viděli jsme z poměrně velké blízkosti mnoho zvířat i ptáků, průvodci byli velmi vstřícní.

The biggest experience and the biggest adrenaline rush I've had in recent years! Simply spectacular!!!
