Journey through more than 6 decades of popular culture at the British Music Experience in the heart of Liverpool. Whatever age you are, and whatever you are into, there is something here for you. There are outfits worn by artists from Freddie Mercury and Dusty Springfield, to the Spice Girls, and Adam Ant and musical instruments played by some of the world’s most renowned artists from Noel Gallagher to the Sex Pistols. See over 600 artifacts, such as handwritten song lyrics from Adele, the original statues from the Brits, and the Apple Corp front door from Saville Row. You can also get involved. You can learn a musical instrument with the best music equipment available, from drum kits to keyboards, and dance the decades in our dance studio! After the main event, browse an exclusive range of gifts, clothing, books, and memorabilia from the shop and you can rest those dancing feet with a selection of delicious snacks and meals in the Star Café.

Amazing something for ever taste and age.could easily spend 3 hours in there if looked at all the displays. Had a hologram on stage about 3 foot away.So real!!!!!! ( Not saying who it was . surprise!!! Gift shop really good prices and unique gifts.staff so helpful, there's a cafe too.all set in this beautiful building,all the staff are all happy , doing a great job,return ticket for a year. You must go!!!!!!!

Really cool experience. It’s a “through the years” exhibit of British music, with loads of bands and memorabilia to see. There’s a live stage performance in the centre of the floor, and a Gibson music experience at the end where you can play instruments as well. Worth a visit for a music fan!

What a brilliant place to visit, right up my street! Lots of exhibits, well laid in chronological order and descriptions clear. We didn’t go for the audio tour as we prefer to “freestyle” our way around. The musical instrument section was amazing - lots of hands on and touching (which isn’t usual in places is it!). We excelled at the dance part of course - and that video is for private use only!! Of course the highlight for me personally was seeing Adam Ant’s clothing - lovely how the guide came round to see how we were doing and had a blether about Adam and the exhibit. The Scottish music influence section is a limited edition and it was amazing. So many happy memories there. As they say, sometimes music is the only thing that takes your mind off everything else…
