This was the best option among the rest. You get to visit the Pena Palace, Quinta de Regaleira and the National Palace in the historic center of Sintra. There was no time to get to the Moors castle but the guide took us to aome point where you can have a good view of it. Alexandra is the beat guide we've ever had in all the GYG tours we've booked. She is very nice, knowledgeable and patient. If you want to see more of Sintra, it is advisable to stay overnight. It will be so worth the trip!

The guide was great, very knowledgeable about the history and local stories. We had a fantastic day. Be warned there is a lot of walking involved but all totally worth it, and not to walk is to miss the beauty of the various sites. We would never have discovered all we did in a day by ourselves or found out so much about the country, its history, traditions and people.

The Sintra UNESCO World Heritage Site Tour was absolutely fantastic. The guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we had along the tour. While you could have spent a little more time at each location, this tour is designed to allow you to see so many things in just one day. My wife and I had a great day out.
