This was a wonderful day with Paolo as our guide. It was our second tour with him. From the beginning we felt like we were out with an old friend. He is so knowledgeable about the history of the country and the regions. He was extremely thorough in his explanations as we toured the Palace, down to the smallest details that we never would have known about had we gone there on our own. We then took a beautiful drive to Cabo Da Roca and Cascais, where of course, he explained everything along the way. It was an added bonus that he brought us to a local restaurant for an amazing, authentic lunch as well as to a pastry shop in Belem with the best pastries I have ever eaten. We highly recommend this tour with Paolo as your guide!

Such an amazing trip! João is an excellent guide who took into account our preferred route. We visited Pena palace, Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira. We also passed by Cabo da Roca. João is very knowledgeable of history and interesting facts. He also gave us some tips of what to visit in Lisbon, which we did on the next day. Do not hesitate booking this trip, as this will definitely be helpful in terms of history as well as getting around Sintra.

We were so thrilled with our day in Sintra, Rocha da Cabio and Cassais. Rod was wonderful. He was very knowledgable and also knew how to pace the trip. I traveled with my 80 year old mother and 10 year old daughter. Having such a vast range of ages - Rod did an excellent job adjusting the trip to meet everyone's needs. I highly recommend Rod - he was one of the best guides we have experienced and his knowledge, friendly style and way of being was such a pleasure. A relaxing and wonderful day (despite a bit of rain and clouds ) Rod made it very enjoyable and we would do this trip again in a heart beat!!
