Discover the cultural highlights and the most scenic places in Portugal on this exclusive tour accompanied by an entertaining tour guide. This private tour can be customized to suit your needs and interests. Explore Óbidos, the town of queens, and admire this picturesque place completely surrounded by extensive walls. These well-preserved walls provide the town with a wonderful impression of bygone times. You will then visit the Alcobaça Monastery and discover some of the secrets of the Cistercian Order. Continue on to the fishing village of Nazaré, where you can enjoy a relaxed lunch break and sample the famous fish stew known as “Caldeirada” in Portuguese. After lunch you will visit the Monastery of Batalha, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This complex presents the finest late-Gothic style in the country and symbolizes the strengthening and independence of Portugal. Upon request you can continue on to Fátima, the most important place of pilgrimage in Portugal which is visited by approximately 4 to 6 million pilgrims throughout the year. People from all over the world come here to worship the Virgin Mary and the three child seers of Fátima. You will then travel back to Lisbon.

Eine tolle Tour die mit vielfältigen Informationen über Land und Leute uns einen kurzweiligen Tag bescherte. Aber auch Freiräume waren vorhanden in denen man einfach nur schauen, entspannen und genießen konnte. Deshalb hier noch einen herzlichen Gruß an unseren Guide Paulo Coelho der uns diesen perfekten Tag ermöglichte.
