On this 2-hour tasting session you’ll get to know boutique wines and small producers that still make wine the old-fashioned way. Your wine expert will carefully select 5 Portuguese wines for you to taste. The selection is always different and depends on the group, the temperature and the mood of the day. He’ll pair all the wines with artisanal cheeses, gourmet sausages, chorizo, and the very popular Portuguese pata negra ham that’s been cured for at least 36 months. The place is very nice and in a good location. The tasting started on time and we were offered a very good amount of food and wine. We had 5 types of wine (all delicious!) and the food was also very good - olive oil and bread, cheese, charcuterie and iberico ham. We were sharing a table with another couple for the tasting, which was not an issue but there were other couples that got a separate table. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, also very flexible with the amount of wine and food. At times we were brought the food only and the wine would take 10-15 minutes to arrive, so we almost had the whole cheese board without wine. In the end it took around 3 hours, so we nearly missed another appointment, but the overall experience was fun! Also, the add says there is a desert but we were not offered any. Not that we could have eaten it anyway as we were very full! Recommended!

A great introduction to Portuguese wine & food

I thoroughly recommend this as ab introduction to Portuguese Wine & food. What was advertised as a 2 hour introduction to 6 different Portuguese wines & tapas turned into a 5 hour experience of 7 different wines & 3 Ports, accompanied by special Portuguese cheese, pastries & meats. Although it seemed a little expensive initially at €65 per person, the whole experience was thoroughly worth while.

You will LOVE this experience!

Great atmosphere & everything that they served us was INCREDIBLE! It is a great place to fill up on cheese, meats & of course drink lots of wine. Then afterwards you can walk across the street to a bar to continue the fun & drink some more!
