Your personal, officially certified tour guide/driver will give you comprehensive insight into the city, and will take your interests into account to customize the tour for you. For example, you can explore Lisbon's picturesque neighborhoods on a one-of-a-kind panoramic tour to the 25th of April Bridge. From a height of over 100 meters, you can admire a breathtaking view of Lisbon and the Christ the King Statue, which, at 28.5 meters high, is the largest concrete statue in Europe. You can also climb to the top of said statue, where you can take in an incredible view of the city and the river. Admire the magnificent Hieronymite Monastery, one of the most important and impressive examples of Manueline style, a Portuguese variation on late Gothic. You can also discover the unique Belém Tower and the one-of-a-kind Monument to the Discoveries. Visit areas of Lisbon less known among tourists such as the Estrela quarter with its Basilica, or the cemetery Prazeres. Lunchtime is also planned at one of Lisbon's local markets, away from tourist crowds.

What a rich and personal introduction to Portugurse culture & history

Amazing detail, helpful historical perspective, rich appreciation of historical context for all that we did and saw. Not just pastry, but the story of why this patisserie is so important. Not just fado but what gasp symnolises. So much in so short a time. Thank you Paolo for your welcome to Portugal and your deep knowledge base. Immensely helpful and enriching. Muito prezer, obrigada

A great introduction to Lisbon

I would really recommend this your for anybody interested in Lisbon. Our driver and guide Anthony was very helpful and friendly. He showed us all the famous places in Lisbon. Him being a local he also took us to the best hidden gems to eat pastries and to enjoy local Portuguese food. After the tour was over he also arranged a reservation at a very very popular local restaurant with Fado (traditional sing and dance) This is a day I will remember for a long time. :)

It was a great tour. We saw a lot of Lisbon.

Because of our guide Paolo's very good knowledge we saw a lot of Lisbon, and learnt a lot about its people too. The suggestions for what to do were very constructive. The breaks at the sights were plenty, so we could visit them in peace. This tour was what you could call an individual private tour. Both our guide Paolo and our bus driver were really nice and considerate. There was plenty of cold water on the bus. So another big thankyou for this tour.
