Full description

After arriving at the dock you will be shown to the sailing boat and briefed on the tour. Leaving the dock, you will pass by the Padrão dos Descobrimentos in the form of a ship, built for the Portuguese World Exhibition in 1940, then the Torre de Belém, Lisbon’s ex-libris. You'll then head to the south bank and watch industries of old, forts and prisons used during the old regime, be dazzled by the Ponte 25 de Abril, once Oliveira Salazar Bridge and see the Cristo Rei. Back to the north bank you will see the Historical Lisbon, with the Terreiro do Paço, the Cais do Sodré and the recently renewed waterfront. Arriving at the dock you’ll see the Museum of Electricity and the newest emblematic structure, the Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology. During the tour you will be served a welcome drink!

Meet your skipper at Doca do Bom Sucesso - Gate 3 (next to Hotel Altis Belem), Lisbon Make your way to Belém by train, uber or táxi (5 min from city center) and near the Tower of Belem, next to Hotel Altis, you will find a dock that has a BP petrol Station. Get to gate 3 of the dock (the one closest to the Hotel) and there will be someone to meet you.

This river cruise was fantastic! We got to sit at the front of the sailboat with a great view. Our skipper, Isaac, was so funny and knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed our two hours with him! The description says that the ticket comes with a free welcome drink, but our group received free unlimited wines with a choice of white, red, or rose. It was a fantastic experience and so much fun!!

A highlight of our Lisbon stay !

Skipper Thomas and his friends were great hosts and the boat was beautiful. The emailed directions and location map were excellent. 6 of us had a 3pm afternoon sail after a long, hot day of walking so this was a great time to sail and relax with a different perspective of Lisbon. Drinks for sale on board would have been nice but the welcome drink was delicious. My friends had not sailed aboard a yacht before and were really impressed. Thank you !

We took a 2 hour sail tour on the Tejo river which we booked on the same morning. We were expecting touristy attraction, but it turned out to be a very nice cruise. Weather was excellent and refreshing as it was +32c in the city. Both crew members were very hospitable constantly offering refreshments, which turned out to be included in the price. You got to see an alternative view of the city while stretching legs on the deck.
