What a great day out. Ricky, our driver was great fun and got us to where we needed to be, and usually before the crowds. His knowledge was great. We had plenty of time in each place - Sintra and the gardens were stunning. Pena Palace was good but crowded - you can't have everything. The lunch stop was just the right amount to time to eat and explore - we had a stunning Thai meal. The scenery on the drive was amazing too. Highly recommended.

We had booked to book regaleira and sintra palace and garden without a traffic jam. But afterwards it turned out that there was no time to visit the palace and the gardens. This is also due to a long breakfast and lunch break. Skipped lunch and went to the palace earlier via an uber and still managed to see everything. Guide did not go to the palace for explanation anyway. Have a nice day.

This was a nice day tour of Sintra. The Quinta da Regaleira is not to be missed and our guide was very informative. One word of advise is not to follow the instruction of buying the garden ticket for the Pena Palace and then upgrading while there. Doing this almost led to our missing the palace tour entirely. The whole group will buy tickets together. Do this instead!!
