In general, show was decent. For great fado lovers not so authentic. The experience would be much better if fado sung without microphone, and if the light was more natural. The quality of singers is average, but they are compatible and they give nice impression, particularly when they sing together. Anyway, I recommend it.

Enjoyed the experience as a solo traveller on a budget. I can imagine why it’d be great in a better setting but it does the job. They were all very talented but I have to say the fella on the Portuguese guitar smashed it. I got angry when the male singer came on and took his instrument haha please don’t do that.

The Fado in Chiado show was held in a small theatre at the top of an unusual building. There were two singers (one female one male) and two guitarists. They encouraged us to join in and both had wonderful voices. We also saw Fado while having a meal in another restaurant the following evening which may be a more relaxed way to see Fado but you don't hear as many songs.
