On this half-day tour, your tour guide will collect you from your accommodations in Johannesburg and take the Lion Park, a natural habitat located not far outside of Johannesburg.  Upon arrival at the Lion Park, you will enjoy 1-hour open vehicle safari drive where you will have the opportunity to view these wonderful animals up close and personal. You will then be driven back to your accommodations in Johannesburg.

Climb into a modern safari truck and set off to discover the lion, wild dog, and cheetah enclosures. After morning pickup from your accommodation in Johannesburg or Pretoria, you’ll head out to the Lion Park. Your registered tour guide will take you on a tour through the Lion Park, a natural habitat only 45 minutes drive from Johannesburg. The park is home to more than 85 lions, including the rare white lion, among other carnivores like the cheetah, hyena, and wild dog. Afterwards, you’ll head in to Pretoria for a city tour. The capital of South Africa, Pretoria is home to a bevy of historic sites. Visit the Union Buildings, headquarters of the South African government, and wander through the beautifully terraced gardens. Then it’s off to the Voortrekker Monument, which commemorates the Great Trek, a mass movement of Afrikaner Boers who resented British rule. Next on the itinerary is the Paul Kruger House Museum, which showcases artifacts related to Paul Kruger, the 3rd president of South Africa from 1883-1900. Before the tour ends, you’ll view some of the architectural standouts of the city, like the Ou Raadsaal, Palace of Justice, and Capital Theater. Afterwards, you’ll be driven back to your accommodation, having seen the urban and rural highlights of a vibrant capital city.

Depart from your hotel at 8am and head towards the Lion and Safari Park located in the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site and one of the richest and most productive palaeo-anthropological sites in the world. The Lion and Safari Park is a 600-hectare wilderness reserve offering visitors an incredible opportunity to get up close to many of South Africa’s most iconic animals. Upon arrival, climb aboard a 4x4 safari vehicle for a one-and-a-half-hour game drive to see Africa’s predators, including lions, hyenas, wild dogs, cheetahs and leopards. The park’s knowledgeable guides will take you through the lion and wild enclosures, and take you to see three hyena species. During your game drive, you will also spot many other animals such as giraffes, ostriches and a variety of antelope species that roam freely on the reserve. When the safari tour has concluded, you are welcome to use the restaurant facilities at the park (at your own expense). The beautifully designed playground next to the restaurants will keep the young ones entertained. From the Lion and Safari Park, proceed to the Lesedi Cultural Village, located in the heart of the African bushveld amidst the rocky hills within the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site. Discover the fascinating cultures and traditions of the people of Africa, visiting five traditional homesteads inhabited by Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho, and Ndebele tribes who live according to tribal folklore and traditions of their ancestors. “Our culture is the light of our nation – whoever walks here amongst our cultures at Lesedi Cultural Village can also see the light.” Guests are also invited to enjoy the essence of Ubuntu at Lesedi Cultural Village, where the song, music, and warmth of our cultural hospitality add a truly unique touch to your conference, and depart for your return trip to Johannesburg. You will arrive back at your hotel at approximately 5pm depending on traffic.

On this thrilling 2-hour guided safari you will see all our predators - lions, wild dogs, hyena, leopards and cheetahs. Our knowledgeable guides will take you through the antelope safari area, and the lion, wild dogs, and cheetah enclosures. Enjoy a guided game drive through our park in one of our game drive trucks while our guides share interesting facts about the animals.

8:00 pick up in Johannesburg you will head first to lesedi Cultural Village and lwhere you will learn more about South African culture, music, dance, languages, war, history and finish by food. 11:30 the starting time the activities. Introduction, movies, cultural tours in the villegies, cultural dance and exploration of those songs and dances and 13:30 pm: lunch with African foods 14:30 pm lion park to experience a wild live by seing lions, zebra, leopard, cheetah, hyena and many more. You may have a chance to feed a giraffe.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city as we take an hour’s drive to visit the Lion & Safari Park. This gives you an experience to get closer to Africa’s wildlife as you get to see some white lions, wild dogs, cheetahs and antelopes. Lion & Safari Park is a conservation area for lions, cheetahs, giraffe’s and other wild animals that focuses on the well-being and regeneration of the rare White Lions. The focus of the park is to provide an opportunity for people, to learn more about these wonderful animals.
