Full description

Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in the Miraflores or San Isidro districts of Lima. Your first stop will be Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pyramid in the middle of modern Miraflores. Step back in time more than 1,500 years as you observe this pre-Inca sacred site. Your next stop will be Huaca Huallamarca, a refurbished archaeological site in San Isidro, to finally stop at Huaca Mateo Salado in Pueblo Libre, the biggest within the city. Then, discover stunning examples of pre-Colombian art at the amazing Larco Museum, where highlights include objects of the finest gold and silver from ancient Peru, along with a collection of erotic pottery. End the night with a 3-course meal at the Cafe del Museo, set in the grounds of the museum. Choose from a menu of typical food and soak up the enchanting atmosphere of the terrace and gardens. After your meal, transfer back to your hotel with your driver.

We had a private tour. Andrea, our guide, was warm and very knowledgeable. We got to see different huacas (pyramids) around the city ans learnt about some of its districts. The highlight for us was the Museum. It was amazing. You could spend a whole day there. The museum’s restaurant is a beautiful place. The driver waited for us and took us back to our hotel. He was also very friendly. Overall, a great experience!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Tour of Huaca Ruins & The Larco Museum! Our guide Marta was very interesting & informative. She made the experience vibrant and fascinating, with insightful details about the history & culture of Peru. We only wish that the tour could have been a little longer, as there was so much to see & experience! We enjoyed our dinner at the Larco Museum Cafe. Excellent food & service and a beautiful environment. I highly recommend the tour and the Larco Museum.
