Great value and water experience on a summer day. We treated our 3 grandchildren to this 1 hour cruise to see the Statute of Liberty and it was our grandson's 8th birthday. Captain Ronnie was tremendously generous with his time, and even allowed our boy to sit in the captain's chair while educating him about the captain's job and his experiences navigating the boat. Overall, it was a wonderful tour package. We had 11am admission tickets for the 911 Memorial and Museum. The experience is very heavy, first hand accounts from survivors and honors for those who were lost. We used the audio tour option on our smart phones and made our way around, it took just over an hour. From there we walked to Battery Park and met Vivian, our tour guide for the State of Liberty/Ellis Island tour. My only gripe was we were no able to go into the Statue of Liberty, apparently it requires another ticket but we were not aware of that and it was too late to purchase a ticket when we were on the island. Vivian was wonderful, very informative and friendly. I would recommend this tour to others.

But overall, we had no issues... and the attractions were all familiar with the pass and accepted it without much issue. We were very satisfied with our choice of this as opposed to purchasing individual tickets.

To say our family LOVED this tour is a huge understatement. We felt so lucky to have Marla as our guide -- she was exceptional in every way! Our boys (both age 14) had nothing but good things to say after the tour -- and if you know or have teen boys, you know this is a rarity! We were so thankful for Marla's thorough and truly entertaining presentation. Not only does she know her history, she has a wonderful wit and sense of humor that keeps it fun for a younger audience! She was also very good at reading our family and knowing just when to move on and/or provide more information or a little break. Finally, she made the logistics a breeze--supplying our tickets, navigating the crowds, and avoiding lines like a total pro. Which, given the heat and having teens, we parents especially appreciated! We highly, highly recommend this tour--especially if you're lucky enough to have Marla as your guide.
