What people are saying about Lesser Poland

The minute we met Mateusz & saw the little yellow Polski Fiat 126 we knew this was going to be an unforgettable tour. We had visited Nowa Huta before but had only really scratched the surface. Mateusz has excellent knowledge of the area which brought it to life for us. As well as the main centre with map and picture references of before and after,we also visited the steelworks which is a must for anyone interested in life during the Communist regime. Gill was very interested in the housing in NH how it worked then and now,Mateusz was very interesting to listen to,as he spoke about sizing of properties and who lived where during the communist era,and the differences now.He explained the difference in sizes was allocated depending on solo/couple or family occupancy, but all with bathrooms and kitchen areas. This was such a splendid tour showing you the workings of a city primarily built as a utopian ideal.

Super recommended! I really enjoyed the experience. A little different from the ''usual" city tours and the guide is very passionate and informed.
