Don't Bury The Lede: Best Tour In Rome. I've paid for six tours during my two-week visit to Rome, and without a doubt, this tour was far and away the best. I guarantee you will enjoy this more than a tour of the Colosseum. The site exceeded the description of it I read in Lonely Planet that prompted me to add it to my list of things to do in Rome. The experience exceeded the description of the tour on Get Your Guide. Both of these are due to the guide and historian, Ricardo. A Pied Piper, he lures you with his enthusiasm and clear delight of his subject, and you cannot resist following him into the 12th-century basilica and then down stairs back in time to structures that hail from the 4th century, then further down and back in time to the 2nd century, and finally at the bottom arriving in the 1st century.

Excellent experience, our guide got us seats that were very close to the front and we were probably 8-10 feet away from the Pope when he went by in his car. Two points - 1) the directions they give you are confusing! Simplified- if you’re facing the Basilica, to the left of the curved arches is ONLY one news stand. This is where you’ll find their guide. We had to walk all around. 2) Although they said the guide would be wearing identifiable clothing, this was not the case! He had decided to wear a hoodie over the company shirt which further complicated finding them.

We had visited St Peters a few years ago and wanted to return this time and to include an Audience with the Pope on the Wednesday. Unfortunately we had a clash with our checking out times and flight times as we were flying home the same day. Sadly we unable to make the visit, However the staff , via texting us, were really helpful but understood, next time maybe and not on a return flight day. Thanks again Rob

A pesar qué las entradas son gratuitas, al comprar por esta aplicación, te puedes ahorrar tiempo y tienes la ventaja qué el recojo está incluido.

So incredible! The guide was fabulous and helped ensure we had the best spot to see the pope!!
