I chose the guided tour at 3pm to avoid the morning crowds and heat. I was lucky to have Federico as my guide! He was very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining in his approach. He took good care of the group- allowing time for photos and to admire the stops along the way. He found stops where it wasn't in the way of other groups and where there was some shade as it was quite hot even in the late afternoon. When the tour finished the sun was starting to set so it was even more beautiful up on Paletine Hill! I was debating whether to do a self guided or guided and in the end I'm happy to have chosen guided to hear the history, stories and passion from a local Italian. Federico is an excellent guide and I hope you're lucky enough to get him too!

This was a great tour, our tour guide was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't feel the time pass at all. Very interesting and thorough tour. My one problem was you don't get the time to go into the Colosseum gift shop, if there was even 10/15 set aside for that I would have appreciated it

Excelente visita. Nós chegamos depois do horário porque a visita aos museus se estendeu, e eles permitem que você remarque para o próximo horário disponível, muito legal. Além disso, o guia era excelente. Falava com muito conhecimento, entusiasmo e amor pela igreja.

Highly recommend this tour. Our guide was amazing with so many facts and made it funny. 10/10 experience

Davide was an amazing guide. This was definitely the highlight of our visit to Rome!
