Full description
This informative tour of the Grand Canyon’s West Rim – home of the famous Skywalk – is a full-day of adventure and fun. Departing Las Vegas early in the morning, you will stop for breakfast then drive through Boulder City, the first planned community in the United States. This is the only town in Nevada without legalized gambling, so you'll be free of the jangle of slot machines. Stop at the new bypass bridge and get incredible pictures of the Mighty Hoover Dam. Once at the West Rim you will board the Hualapai Tribes Legacy Tour to view Eagle Point and Guano Point. Your time here is entirely your own and you will have a lunch ticket you may use to eat right on the rim. Enjoy the amazing views, or treat yourself to a trip on the glass Skywalk, built over the edge of the canyon, for a small extra charge. Throughout the 10-hour tour you will be traveling in an air-conditioned motor coach, mini bus, tour van or SUV, depending on the number of people booked. Fully trained professional tour guides will be with you all the way and you will make numerous photo stops on the drive through the ancient Joshua Tree Forest.

Left on time, breakfast and lunch included on tour which was convenient. I did not know our tour would be with Comedy Tours. I didn't recall seeing it anywhere on the booking and there was no conformation email so there was some confusion at the beginning. I was disappointed we did not go directly to the Hoover Dam as stated on the description of tour. Instead we were taken to the Tillman bridge to look at the Dam. The guide was friendly but was too talkative about himself and not enough about what we paid to see. Our driver stopped for us to see a herd of mountain sheep which was cool.

A very nice day

Immediately after booking the tour, I received a confirmation e-mail, which I printed out and brought along. Everything went well logistically. I was picked up at the hotel on time and had a very nice day. The driver and guide were very friendly, as were the other participants. The stops were generous.

It was funny, informative, and all in all a great experience.

Our guide Joni had us laughing all day. She was very knowledgable about the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and every where in between. She gave us a lot of information but she kept it fun. Nothing dry or boring about this trip. The breakfast in Boulder City was delicious. We went on the Skywalk. I didn't think I would be able to but it was nto bad - just don't look straight down. We ate lunch at Guano Point - our choice - the food was okay but the view was spectacular! That is the must see stop on the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. In fact we had such a good experience before we left the bus we booked another tour with them for two days later to the Hoover Dam. I highly recommend it to anyone. In fact that is how we found out about them. They were given rave reviews from our friends who had taken the tour with them previously.
