    Full description
Depart Las Vegas in the morning and stop along the famous Route 66 on the way to Grand Canyon West. Upon arrival, ride the shuttle to Eagle Point. Get an incredible view of the eagle-shaped rock formation and walk right up to the edge of the canyon. See some of the dwellings where Native American tribes used to live. Then, experience the most spectacular views from the Skywalk. This glass-framed overlook sits 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon and boasts a 10-foot-wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge peering over the West Rim of the canyon. Feel like you’re floating on air as you take in the sweeping views. Stop for lunch at the recently-opened Skywalk Café. Next, go to Guano Point at the site of an old guano mine. Enjoy views that are completely different to the ones at Eagle Point. Walk along the dirt trail at the edge at Guano Point, then return to the Welcome Center before heading back to Las Vegas.

The good: Location is fantastic and is a must see experience. Great views and the skywalk is fantastic. Tue bad: The bus journey was not so good. As first pick up we drove for 90 mins before leaving Vegas and spent 90 mins parked up for lunch when it was supposed to be a quick pick up. Finally the tour guide told us what time to be back for the bus but was late back herself. Also last to be dropped off as a finale..room for improvement. 10 hours out of 13 on a bus is too much. I would hire a car next time and drive myself next time.

Mitch and Trey were great. We enjoyed our day, but I was surprised that after our 7:40 pick-up we waited about 30 minutes for a few additional people. First, I thought the policy was not to wait and, second, it seems grossly unfair to make 60 people wait for a handful. Mitch did a good job of explaining the difference between NV and AZ time, but five members of an Indian family showed up late. I think time difference should be emphasized, recognizing that language can be a problem. One approach could be to suggest that people set their timers on their phones. Additionally we waited quite a while for a passenger who was already on the bus. It might be a good idea to ask people to return to the same seat they used for arrival. These issues added more than an hour to our trip - an hour that did not add value.

I went alone, I was worried that I could follow along because it was a local guided tour, but the guide took care of me and the travelers I went with very well! Best of all, the price is great! The Grand Canyon seemed to have the most sights in one day at the West Rim! Eagle Point, Skywalk! Indian Village! Then you're good! It was so cool and magnificent! West Rim Local Guide I've been adding Skywalk, but I don't think I need to take a photo shoot to a professional photographer. I can't use the camera.
