Full description

Start your day early as you travel from your hotel in Las Vegas to the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. Walk in the dunes and snap some beautiful photos. Head towards the Badwater Basin Salt Flats, which is famous for being the lowest point in North America.

Continue to Artist’s Drive for a scenic 9-mile drive through incredible canyons and colorful mountains that will take about 40 minutes with a stop at Artist’s Palette where you can hike to get up close and personal with the amazing colors caused by volcanic minerals.

Travel to Zabriskie Point to view sweeping Martian-like landscapes for about 20 minutes. Finally, visit Dante's View, near the edge of the Black Mountains to get views of the southern half of the national park.

Gage was great. He was considerate of our needs, rest stops, and limitations due to age. We were informed about the areas we visited. Had great conversations about a variety of things, definitely a people person. Felt safe with him and he adapted well to adverse conditions, like snowing.

Zach was knowledgeable, fun and had a wonderful day planned for us. I love the small group environment and we spent the tight amount of time at each stop. Landscape is unreal and marvelous. Beautiful mountains and Artist's Palette is a delight. I would definitely recommend this tour for a great day in DVNP!

Rich was very accommodating, he showed us a lot of wonderful places in such a short time, good lunch but hope there will be a vegetarian option next time. Wish we could have seen Dante’s view, but I guess it was too far. Overall a highly recommended tour
