  • From Las Vegas: Hoover Dam Highlights Tour

    2. From Las Vegas: Hoover Dam Highlights Tour

Experience the top highlights of Hoover Dam on a half-day tour that is perfect for those who want to enjoy views overlooking Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the historic Boulder City. Depart from the Las Vegas Strip aboard a luxury motorcoach for a quick ride to Boulder City, home of the workers who built the Hoover Dam. The stop at this charming town includes a free visit to the Hoover Dam Museum, cafes, antique shops and a unique art walk featuring beautiful, bronze statues. Get stunning views of this "Man-Made Wonder of the World" from the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, which gives an aerial view from 900 feet above the Colorado River and Black Canyon.   Have a photo stop at the highest overlook on the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam and visit the Lake Mead Visitor’s Center.

Pasquale was the BEST GUIDE EVER!!! The tour was worth the money and I think we got more than enough without being able to actually tour the dam facilities itself due to COVID restrictions. I would definitely recommend to all first-time Dam visitors!!!!

It was 113 degrees, a lot hot but I loved the boardwalk and really enjoyed the casinos..I was a little disappointed we didn't go across the new bridge at Hoover Dam though..Next time I will go when it's a little cooler.. Was too hot to stay out on the boardwalk this trip..

Kelly's a great guide bringing together the old and the new. The only suggestion I have is that we hear something in the beginning about the Indigenous, Spanish, and Mexican people who inhabited the land before and whose descendants are still there. Just the name of the city, Las Vegas, tells us something. Other than that, however, something really worth doing as it gives you a sense of neighborhood and not just glitz. Thank you!
