  • Gran Canaria: Off-Road Day Tour with Optional Camel Ride

    1. Gran Canaria: Off-Road Day Tour with Optional Camel Ride

Spend an unforgettable day discovering Gran Canaria’s interior on a 4-whell drive safari that takes you along dirt paths and rural roads. You’ll travel by fully-equipped jeep with a highly skilled driver and guide, who knows every inch of the route. On this 7-hour tour, you’ll head to the very heart of the island and experience why Gran Canaria is referred to as a miniature continent. The tour offers you plenty of opportunities to take photos and also a stop for lunch to enjoy typical Canarian specialties.  You’ll feel like a desert scout or even like Lawrence of Arabia, as you ride a gentle camel through the 1000 Palm Tree Valley. You don’t need to ride on the hump, by the way, as the camels are fitted with comfortable 2-seater saddles!

Pleasant trip, more info about the areas we were visiting would have been a nice choice (eg. S. Lucia church and the village...). The driver Gabri was fun (we were trying to understand his Spanish, answering in Italian, he was doing the opposite and the experiment was quite successful!)

Also, enjoy lunch at the port of Las Nieves. Finally, pass through Guía which is a famous area for flower cheese. You might have the opportunity to try some (for an optional €3 euros per person).

Definitely take something to put on. It was a lot of fun to drive with Laura. But after that I got a total cold. Because you sweat and the jeeps are open.

Amazing! Recommended 100 for 100. I had an incredible time, it was super short and the guides are fantastic. If I could I would give it a thousand
