Start with pickup from your accommodation around Rovaniemi, or in the city center, and set off for the Korouoma Canyon nature reserve. Start the tour with a hike through the park, admiring spectacular scenery including cliffs, rapids, and waterfalls. Keep your eyes sharp to observe an array of rare species that call the area home. Snowshoes are optional but may be useful if you need more confidence when hiking down the canyon or just want to enjoy some deep snow walks. Then, observe some of the most spectacular frozen waterfalls in Europe and enjoy the beauty of snowy nature. Warm up with a typical Finnish campfire snack around an open fire constructed by your guide. Learn more about Lapland and the Arctic region's traditions with your guide throughout the day. After an early morning of adventure, return to Rovaniemi where you will be dropped off at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Experience Reindeer Farm, Husky Sled Ride & Santa Claus Village! Your day will start with transfer to the farm, where you will be able to ride your own reindeer sledge in a brief, 500m long ride. Your newly learned skills will be rewarded with a Reindeer Sledge Driver’s License! Next, make your way to the Alaskan Huskies where you will find these beautiful, loyal, and energetic companions. Experience the Alaskan Huskies in action on a 800m long sleigh ride. Enjoy a traditional salmon soup lunch during your visit and listen to the local reindeer herders as they tell you more about the herding lifestyle and how it is to be a reindeer herder in the 21st century. After the farm visit, you will be taken to the Santa Claus Village where you will have some free time to explore at your own pace. You have the opportunity to experience the Christmas atmosphere, step across the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus and children under 140cm can try mini snowmobiling for 10 minutes on our mini-track. Your day will conclude with drop-off back to Rovaniemi.

Drive away from the city to the place with the highest chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Find a warm spot to set up the fire and sit and wait for the show. Benefit from knowing that the more time you spend outside, the greater the chance of you seeing the lights. Usually, you can view the Aurora in the middle of a huge frozen lake or river. Embark on an experience visiting up to 3 locations to give you the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Huddle around the fire with your guide, who will also tell you all about traditional animals and customs.

This 2-hour adventure offers you the opportunity to take a snowmobile for a quick spin and master the art of driving these fascinating vehicles.  You will be driving across the frozen arctic nature, accompanied by an experienced guide, enjoying the magical winter landscapes of Lapland. During the safari, stop for a break to enjoy a hot drink and experience the silence of the vast and beautiful Rovaniemi wilderness. 

Our tour start from Rovaniemi. We will then head out of the city, far from city lights and find the best locations. We try to get early to the spot to see the aurora in time, and we don’t leave until the aurora is over. You pay tour price only if we have northern lights . If we dont have lights even if we tried during the hunting then you pay only service cost (30e per person , for example fuel and etc.) The tour is very flexible, starting time can be from 5-8pm depending by weather conditions (its very hard to have any specific time because the weather is changing all the time) and each night we choose a different spot and departure time. The tour is better for adults. If you have kids, it is not recommended. Teenagers should be ok. Keep in mind that on some nights it’s too cloudy everywhere or solar activity is too small. In this cases tour will be cancelled, or postponed (in case of availability).

Learn about the Finnish way of life as your guide teaches you how to drill a hole in the ice and prepare the ice-fishing rod and baits. In the meantime, your guide will prepare a delicious soup lunch, accompanied by hot drinks. If you're lucky, this will be accompanied by the catch of the day. After your retreat to the wilderness, travel back to the starting point in the center of Rovaniemi.

A valid driving license is required to drive a snowmobile, but also children can join the safari sitting on a sledge under warm blankets. Note the late time of the excursion!
