Full description
This exciting tour through the north of Lanzarote begins with a visit to the Monumento al Campensino. Designed by Cesar Manrique, the monument is located in the center of Lanzarote. It is primarily a small museum dedicated to the hard-working rural population and presents the traditional arts of the Canary Islands. Nestled in the foothills of a lava field, you will also find a small bodega with tapas as well as an impressively designed restaurant. Continue on to the most unusual house on the island: LagOmar, the former home of Omar Sharif. LagOmar was created from the same rock that surrounds it – a volcanic quarry with a natural labyrinth and caves, formed from lava that had flowed down from the slopes of the higher volcano. Drive through the picturesque village of Haria, located in the heart of the Valley of a Thousand Palms. The area is a unique green oasis between the impressive rock formations and the slopes of Famara Massif. Continue on along a winding road up to the highest point of the massif to enjoy the breathtaking views of Haria, the Valley of a Thousand Palms, and the northeastern coastline with its picturesque village. At the foot of the volcano Monte Corona, you can visit an aloe vera plantation and learn more about this plant on the island. Jameos del Agua is one of the most beautiful places on Lanzarote to spend some time. Cesar Manrique designed this section of the caves in a tasteful artistic and architectural way. Here you will find a cafeteria in a beautifully adorned ambiance, a concert hall, a swimming pool, and a small lake that directly connects to the sea. Small white, blind crabs live in this lake, which you can see with the naked eye. These crabs are usually found in the deep sea, more than 2,000 meters under the sea. On the way back you will visit another highlight of the island: the Fundación Cesar Manrique. This is housed in the former residence of the famous artist in Tahiche. Here you can not only see a part of the artistic work of Cesar Manrique but also gain an impression of how he worked. However, what is most special is the amazing architecture. A large part of the complex is nestled in the foothills of the longest lava flow of the Canary Islands, with completely unusual structures that are not usually found in any residential house. The lava runs through the property and breaks abruptly out of the walls and the floor. This surprises visitors and also shows the creative abilities of Manrique, whose life and work have shaped the island. Between 18:00 and 19:00 you will return to your hotel or back to the starting point.

Lovely tour - the only way to see all these sights if you are not willing to drive yourself! Covered many locations which was great! Sadly lunch buffet quality of food not that great, (as expected from this sort of tours where many people have to be fed in short time!) however, lunch could have taken place for an hour plus 30mins in a town where everyone could chose where to eat...tour would have to end 30mins later ... (optional lunch is not optional if you are not given any other option of places to eat!)...

A very nice day tour

The tour guide Radmila made for an entertaining and very informative tour. Always helpful and open to any question. The drive through the Timanfaya National Park was made pleasant with a lot of information. The driver Domingo showed his driving skills even in difficult road passages. His calm and serenity conveyed a feeling of great security. After the very nice drive through the Timanfaya National Park, a nice surprise awaited us: The caves of Jamoes del Agua. As a first-time visitor to Lanzarote, you had the feeling of having seen beautiful places in a pleasant way on a day tour. Can only recommend this tour.

Was great!!

I wanted to see as much as possible. The tour was great for that. There was 45-60 minutes per stop. Of course, that is not extremely much. But it is enough to take a leisurely look at the sights. For example, if you are standing in front of a picture in a museum for 10 hours to admire it, you should take a rental car to ensure flexibility. The tour guide was great. Nice, attentive, motivated. The bus trip from stop to stop was always used to overturn interesting facts. The tour was German and English speaking. She then said it one after the other in the respective language. It was sometimes a bit quick but you understood it and the woman really has a lot of knowledge. The price-performance ratio is in my opinion awesome. An optional museum visit for 8 € should be made. Is an important museum on Lanza. Lunch was buffet for 8 €, all u can eat, was delicious and price great. I was traveling alone. Can only recommend the trip
