In a short time, it acquired a world renown as being one of the best producers of Barbaresco wines from its own vineyards, which exclusively grow the nebbiolo grape. A favorable microclimate allows the growth of high-quality grapes even during years in which the harvest is difficult. Recently, the winery has been considerably enlarged and provided with modern equipment for the production of wine of the highest quality standard – DOCG. At the end of the wine trip to the Langhe region, you will see the small but beautiful historical center of the town of Barbaresco, completely surrounded by its famous vineyards. Me and my family had booked a dining experience at a local's home and at first I was sceptic as I haven't received the details of the host for several days after the booking and when I did, I haven't been able to contact the host, however at the day of the event she sent us the exact address and was very helpful and friendly. She also told us a lot about how the local food is made, some local cooking tricks, what to visit and where. We had a 4 course meal for 3 hours and the host has kept all the requirements about what foods we can't eat. If you want to really sense the local atmosphere, you should book this experience. Definitely recommend.

Our guide was very informative about the area , being a local!!! She could tell us the history and answer any questions we might have. From agricultural to the local cuisine. She was able to get us exclusive sites knowing the the owners personally !! She helped us to our train and even helped us with out bags !!! I would us this service again for sure !!!

If you are in this part of Italy and not taking this cooking class, then what are you even doing with your life!! It was exceptional. It was authentic Italy, as much the food as the people. I made instant friends. Would do it again. 10 stars! 1 Tip: Be sure to search your email thoroughly for the correct address and have it ready before your trip.

Tour guide Manuela and driver great, food was very good and plentiful, only the view was missing. All in all a great, informative and entertaining excursion!
