I rated this experience a 3 because of the fact that the description says that you will be taken to a lake, and we were not. Instead, we were taken to a Cafe and given mint tea. Also of note, do your research about the Agafay desert. I feel like some people were disappointed because the desert itself is not a sandy desert. it is made up of stone and can be pretty rugged in some areas. Part of my rating also comes from the fact that if you’re a beginner, you weren’t given much instructions on how to drive the quad, so I would say it’s not kid friendly. Also, the guide didn’t introduce himself at all. I was given information the night before, to be on time as the driver would only wait 5 minutes for me. I was waiting outside when the driver pulled up and he didn’t even bother to get out of the car. I had to approach him and ask what tour he was with, which was a different experience to what I was used to with other drivers. The quad itself was thrilling, but the experience was mediocre.

Great guides and nice quads - would have liked a bottle of water or offered refreshments when we were left sitting around at different parts. Transfer was late Group was nice size. Could have driven a bit faster for group ability.
