This was a great experience! We had a rainy day but it was not a problem. Excellent close up view of the rock carving. Tea, coffee, muffins and trout tasting are included. Fishing demo was great and we caught a trout! Staff were friendly, informative and enthusiastic. Photo ops driving the boat popular with kids and adults.

Really worth it for the money. They tell you about all the history of the lake and the carvings and cruise is super relaxing. Sadly we went on a rainy day so weren’t able to see the true beauty of it all but was still very nice and informative. Free drinks on board and handed us some fresh blueberry muffins on the way back from the rocks! super delicious. I definitely recommend this cruise

Great geothermal information in regards to changes within the landscape. Excellent pronunciation of Maori words in regards to forecasting history. Staff well equipped for delivering a top of the range experience. Felt safe on board and understood evacuation and health and safety procedures delivered by skipper over loud speaker.
