Start the tour with an early morning pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe. Then, head to Kayabwe for your breakfast stop after which you will be taken to Lake Mburo National Park, located in Kiruhura District in the Western Region of Uganda (approximately 240 km west of Kampala). Once in the park, embark on a 3-hour game drive in search of the many species the park has to offer. The park has a variety of animals such as zebra, hippopotamus, impala, warthog, common eland, African buffalo, jackal, lion, African leopard, and over 300 bird species. You will have the option to leave the vehicle and go on a guided walk along the walking trail. After the game drive, enjoy the chance to relax in the shade while lunch is served. After lunch, head to the lakeshore to enjoy a 2-hour boat trip. During the cruise, spot hippos, hornbills, and papyrus gonaleks. Finally, head back to Kampala, stopping at the Equator to experience being in both hemispheres at the same time. Be sure to take some pictures here of this unforgettable experience. Once back in Kampala, get dropped off back at your accommodation to conclude the tour.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale Forest NP Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner Lodge: Turaco Treetops Lodge/ Similar Day 2: Chimp tracking Kibale Forest and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP Have breakfast and head to the rangers’ point where you will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will proceed to trek the chimps in the Kibale Forest. Later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Marafiki Safari Lodge/ Similar Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel Be up early and have your breakfast. Proceed for a morning game drive in the park during which you will see Lions, Elephants, Leopard (though a rare sighting), Cape bushbuck, Cape Buffalos, Defassa Waterbucks, Giant Forest Hogs, and Uganda kob among others. In the afternoon you will go for a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Marafiki Safari Lodge/ Similar Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi with en-route game drive in Ishasha area Have breakfast then set off for Bwindi Impenetrable NP through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Bakiga Lodge Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi After breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing before you set off through the tracks to search for the gorillas. You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these humble giants. However, the time ranges between 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tedious, it entails walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. Later continue driving further south to Lake Bunyonyi. A very beautiful lake with 29 islands which might make you feel like you are out of Africa. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and enjoy the evening game viewing Have breakfast and set off to Lake Mburo NP. Drive past the intensely terraced Kigezi hill slopes into Mbarara town and finally Lake Mburo NP. Arrive in the park in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding out for the late afternoon (evening) game viewing. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Rwakobo Rock Resort Day 7: Mburo park (nature) walk and transfer to Entebbe or Kampala Enjoy your early breakfast and proceed for the Mburo morning park/nature walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. Later hit the road to Entebbe and Kampala. Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 1 Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, then be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Enjoy a city walking tour if you arrive before 12:00 PM local time, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included on your first day. Day 2 Depart for your first destination, the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Afterward, head to Murchison Falls National Park. Hike to the top of Murchison Falls followed by dinner and an overnight stay at a 3-star safari lodge. Day 3 After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive. Spot 4 of the Big Five game species, lion, water buffalo, leopard, and elephants. Enjoy an afternoon boat trip on the River Nile where you may spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalo, and several bird species. Later, go on an evening predator game drive. Day 4 Enter Kibale Forest National Park for a 7-hour scenic drive through local villages and towns. In the evening, rest up at a forest camp. Day 5 Embark on a day of tracking chimpanzees and other primates. See species including Grey-cheeked mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, and L'hoest's monkeys. In the afternoon drive, through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 6 Head out on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains where you will spot elephants, buffalo, kobs, warthogs, waterbuck, and potentially some leopards and lions. After lunch take a leisurely cruise on the Kazinga channel. Day 7 Depart for Bwindi National Park with a game drive through the Ishasha sector (home of the tree-climbing lions). Arrive at the Bwindi Forest in the afternoon. Day 8 Hike through the dense Bwindi Forest with an experienced ranger in search of the resident gorilla family. Enjoy 1 hour of time watching the gorillas. Continue to Lake Bunyonyi with an evening-time motorized canoe ride on the lake. Day 9 On the penultimate day, travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Check-in at the Mburo Eagle's Nest hotel, before an evening game drive. Day 10 Embark on a short game walk before departing for Entebbe. Stop for lunch before being dropped off back at Entebbe International Airport to check-in for departure flight. An extra night's stay in Entebbe for next day's departure can be arranged on request.
