Enjoy a city walking tour if you arrive before 12:00 PM local time, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included on your first day. Day 2 Depart for your first destination, the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Afterward, head to Murchison Falls National Park. Hike to the top of Murchison Falls followed by dinner and an overnight stay at a 3-star safari lodge. Day 3 After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive. Spot 4 of the Big Five game species, lion, water buffalo, leopard, and elephants. Enjoy an afternoon boat trip on the River Nile where you may spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalo, and several bird species. Later, go on an evening predator game drive. Day 4 Enter Kibale Forest National Park for a 7-hour scenic drive through local villages and towns. In the evening, rest up at a forest camp. Day 5 Embark on a day of tracking chimpanzees and other primates. See species including Grey-cheeked mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, and L'hoest's monkeys. In the afternoon drive, through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 6 Head out on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains where you will spot elephants, buffalo, kobs, warthogs, waterbuck, and potentially some leopards and lions. After lunch take a leisurely cruise on the Kazinga channel. Day 7 Depart for Bwindi National Park with a game drive through the Ishasha sector (home of the tree-climbing lions). Arrive at the Bwindi Forest in the afternoon. Day 8 Hike through the dense Bwindi Forest with an experienced ranger in search of the resident gorilla family. Enjoy 1 hour of time watching the gorillas. Continue to Lake Bunyonyi with an evening-time motorized canoe ride on the lake. Day 9 On the penultimate day, travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Check-in at the Mburo Eagle's Nest hotel, before an evening game drive. Day 10 Embark on a short game walk before departing for Entebbe. You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these humble giants. However, the time ranges between 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tedious, it entails walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. Later continue driving further south to Lake Bunyonyi. A very beautiful lake with 29 islands which might make you feel like you are out of Africa. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. The drive to Bwindi is about 180km and it takes about 3 hours, you will arrive at the lodge at Bwindi impenetrable national park in the afternoon for your lunch and a rest for the next day gorilla trekking. You will arrive at your lodge in mburo national park, have lunch and relax then continue for an evening game drive for about 2 to 3 hours. Accommodation: Budget: hyena hill Day 3 Explore Lake Bunyonyi After breakfast, you will drive out of the park and proceed to for a235km journey of about 5hours to Kigezi region through the (Ugandan Swiss alps). The scenery along Mbarara Kabale road is beautiful, with savannah plains of grazing animals, here you will appreciate the mode of the Ankole cattle farming paddocks scattered along the route, with steep, winding hills, covered in a patchwork quilt of fields and then opening out into flatter plains. Kabale town will welcome you as you emerge from the twisted hills into a vibrant countryside town. You will head to lodge at lake bunyonyi for your lunch break and stay. Kibale national park is the primate capital of the world with habitants like the red-tailed monkey, mantled guereza, olive baboons lhoests monkey, chimpanzees, the park is home to about 325 different bird species including nahans partridge, black bee eater, green breasted pitta and more, the park is aroma to about 250 different butterfly species. Chimpanzees are found in smaller groups of about 15 to 150 individuals. The trek usually takes about 2-5hours depending on the location, we shall head back to the lodge for our lunch. After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Murchison falls national park, the home to the world’s powerful waterfall, the park is home to some of the biggest mammals of the land like the African elephant, the lions, the giraffes, hippos and about 451 different bird species including the grey crowned crane, fisher birds, hornbills and more. After a morning breakfast at the lodge around 6am we shall head to Buligi game area for a 3-4 hours’ game drive, exploring buffaloes, elephants, lions, hippos, warthogs, hyenas, numerous antelopes as you encounter the amazing savannah birds such as Abyssinian ground hornbills palm nut vultures and more. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. During the afternoon, we head for a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison falls, you will encounter Nile crocodiles and hippos, with numerous birds like the red throated bee eater along the Nyamusika cliff, you will dock at a distance and experience the amazing Murchison falls as water squeezes through a 7-meter gap then drops down 45 meters to form a devil’s cauldron which makes it the one of the world’s most powerful waterfall. Accommodation budget; Sipi heritage lodge Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner Day 13 Mountain Elgon National Park After an early morning breakfast, you shall head to the park office to be briefed then head for a forest walk this will avail you the chance to watch some of the most beautiful forest birds, the area has about 300 different bird species like tinker birds, moorland francolin, tacazze sunbird, black collared avail and more, the area also have primates like monkeys, it is home to hot springs, Jacksons pool caves, waterfalls bamboo forests and more. After this wonderful experience you shall head back to the hotel for your night’s stay. Day 14 Source of River Nile Jinja City. After an early morning breakfast, you drive straight to Jinja city at source of the Nile River, you will check-in to your lodge, have lunch then visit the source of the Nile with a boat cruise. You may wish to go for jinja city tour or relax at your lodge or opt for more activities at the Nile at an extra cost. Accommodation: Afro Smile hotel jinja Day 15 Drive from Jinja to Entebbe for departure Depending on your tine of departure, spare some time for the drive back to Entebbe for departure, along the way you will appreciate the culture and ways of life of people along the Jinja- Kampala highway with a stopover for snacks at a popular highway point of delicious barbeque which is a major stopping point of travelers transiting through the eastern route. We will transport you to the national park where you will be allocated to a group and head out for your trek to get close to gorrilas. We will give you a packed lunch (included) for your trek. You will then be transferred to your hotel (included) for a much deserved rest and dinner (included) Day 3 - After breakfast you will be picked up and we will explore the majestic Queen Elizabeth full of wildlife and wonders. After a day of game driving you will be transferred back to the hotel (included) where you can enjoy a dinner (included). Day 4 - Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise along Kazinga channel Have an early Morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs and a variety of birds and return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon go for a 2-hour launch cruise along Kazinga channel. Expect to view numerous animals like breeding hippos, different bird species etc. Dinner and overnight stay (included) Day 5 – Morning Chimpanzee Tracking in Kalinzu forest and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi After morning breakfast, go for chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu forest then drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Day 6 –Boat trip on Lake Bunyonyi to see Batwas or Pygimies and sight-seeing or Hiking to Arcadia cottages After morning breakfast, go for a boat trip on Lake Bunyonyi to see Batwas on the Island and hike to the arcadia cottages. Dinner and overnight (included) Day 7 - After breakfast you will be picked up and we travel to Volcanoes National Park for your Golden Monkey tracking section of the tour. After your trip you will be dropped off to either the airport or a hotel of your choice (not included) where we bid our farewells.

Itinerary Day 1 Arrival at Kigali airport Arrival and pick up from Kigali airport, you will meet with your guide as he welcomes you to Rwanda and drive you to the lodge for check-in, you will later drive around Kigali city, you will visit various sites including Kigali memorial site, Hotel Rwanda where people sought refuge amid the genocide, Nyamata church, , Rwanda convectional Centre and finish with the presidential palace museum which was the place of residence of former president Juvenal Habyarimana at the time of the genocide. You will later return to your lodge for an overnight stay. Day 2 Akagera National Park. Early morning After breakfast you will drive for about 3 hours to Akagera national park and on arrival, you will embark on a boat cruise on lake Ihema enjoying the view of water animals like the Hippos, crocodiles, with beautiful birds like the Shoebill stork, the African Fish Eagle, Valentine birds and more. In the afternoon after a lunch break at one of the park restaurants, you will do a game drive look out for different animals like Buffaloes, elephants enjoying the waters of nature with birds like the Egyptian Goose, Zebras, impalas, water bucks, giraffes, baboons’ elands making the drive rich and memorable. At the end you will head back to Kigali for overnight. Accommodation budget Lodge: Balinda’s Airbnb Day 3 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Early morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Uganda via Katuna border crossing , a drive from Kigali city to the boarder is 1.30 hours to 2 hours , you will clear with immigration and later proceed to Bwindi forest National Park via Kabale town, you will arrive after a 2hour drive and check-in at your lodge in Bwindi forest , have lunch then head out for a community experience of the Batwa people and the Bakiga populations around Bwindi forest. In the evening you will head back to your lodge for rest and overnight stay Budget Accommodation: Broad bill forest camp Day 4 Gorilla trekking experience After an early morning breakfast, you head to the National Park offices for briefing about the dos and don’ts then head for a gorilla trek with acknowledgeable ranger, this will take about 2 - 5hours passing through thicket and bush trekking up or down hill while looking for a gorilla family , after meeting the family you will be around at least an hour with the family while experiencing their humanly way of behavioral characters, take as many photos and videos as you can as this is the most fascinating experience you will ever have in a life time . After the experience you have your parked lunch and later head to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing moment. Budget Accommodation: Antique cottages lake bunyonyi Day 5 Lake Bunyonyi tour After morning breakfast, you will head for a lake tour with either a boat ride or a jet ski or inflatable canoe on the Lake for viewing its different islands, the lake has about 29 islands with beautiful sceneries like the Akampene island in addition to the terraced hills of Kigezi. You will return to our lodge for a picnic and evening campfire. Day 6 Drive to Kigali airport Early in the morning after breakfast you shall embark on the journey back to Kigali Airport to check in for the flight this will be the ending of your tour.
