Full description
Travel via high-speed catamaran from Lahaina Harbor to the Maui Channel to see the humpback whales, who return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your 2-hour whale watching trip, you may see any number of whale things happen. Keep your eyes peeled for whales slapping the surface with their pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), or peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body). Keep your fingers crossed for a breach. This is when a whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again. Don’t forget to bring your camera.

This was a great activity. The Captain of the boat, Heather was very knowledgeable about the whales and their activities along with lots of facts. We were able to see a calf with it's Momma and an escort. The other people working on the boat were friendly and made sure that we had drinks! I would do this again. Also I had my children on the boat ages 16, 7, & 2 and they all enjoyed it.

Was with my husband of 59 years, our daughter and a friend. We had a great time watching the male whales make advances toward the female. Have been on other whale watches on Cape Cod but did not have that experience. The captain shared meaningful information about whales in an entertaining fashion. The other staff , two women were helpful, friendly and hospitable. Wonderful in every way. Mahalo

Great all female crew. Captain was very good at spotting the whales. And we had some pretty close encounters by chance as the baby whale came to our boat to check us out. The boat was nice, clean and with reduced capacity to space out groups. so no need to jostle for photography positions. Drinks were so cheap and good. Overall we were very happy with the experience. Very happy with the value of the tours as they are one of the lowest priced tour companies with this size of boat. Definitely would recommend the QuickSilver tour company for whale watching.
