From Lagos: Dolphin Watching Boat Trip

1. From Lagos: Dolphin Watching Boat Trip

Meet your experienced crew at the Marina de Lagos and get a safety briefing before you set sail off the coast of the Algarve. Look for dolphins aboard a rigid inflatable boat in a small group of no more than 12 people for a more personalized experience. Hear detailed information about the sea and weather conditions, and the last known coordinates and patterns of the dolphins’ behavior from the previous days to help you locate the animals. Travel at a speed of around 25 knots, depending on the sea conditions, as you look for magnificent sea mammals for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Benefit from a 90% chance to encounter the beautiful creatures in their natural environment – although as an act or nature sightings cannot be guaranteed.

I think we were extremely lucky we chose this activity. Being on the rib meant that we could quickly relocate to where the dolphins were. They move fast! There must have been around 50 dolphins and small groups of them were swimming in the bow wave created by our boat. It was a life memory! Only word of caution, the boat travels fast and bangs down on the water so if you have a bad back, sit at the back. We were at the front and it was fantastic.

Very fun activity. If you sit in the front of the boat, brace yourself because it goes fast!!! kick!! We had to search for a while but afterwards we saw many schools with lots of dolphins. It was beautiful!!!

It was great!! We were very well received by the team! And we were lucky to see dolphins !! Lots of dolphins !! Even though we knew we might not see them!

Very nice experience despite the bad weather. The crew were caring, friendly and available! I recommend this company!
