Came out especially for us 2, cancelling his day off because he knew the weather was changing and it would be our last chance to get out on water for a week or more as Dec storms approached Portugal. He drove us right through great rock formations and gave us an historically informative tour. Learned Columbus was really a Portuguese man named Zagres who was just tossing Spain crumbs of what Portugal knew was was out there. Guide showed us where he would dive off cliffs as a foolish teenager. Recommended!
We were picked up from Lagos train station as we have arrived from Albufeira by Antonio who was extremely helpful and provided very good information through out this trip. The views from both Sagres and Cape St. Vincent are amazing; Antonio has always accompanied our little group to explain everything.
Our guide, António, was very knowledgeable and took his time with the trip, never rushing us. We were lucky because we were the only people, so we were able to alter the schedule because of the weather. Don’t forget to bring an empty water bottle to fill up at Monchique!
Really interesting and informative trip. We were there out of season so there were only the 2 of us on the trip. Lovely places to visit and well worth every penny. Antonio was very professional and helpful pre and during the trip. Thoroughly recommended.
Great relaxed experience. It is hard to find the meeting point- its on the marina side past the brown boat and next to the blue shade. The crew were friendly and the caves incredible. Then there was time to swim in the icy clear water
