After getting picked up from your hotel in San Martin de Los Andes, set off along the 110 km Seven Lake Route, making stops at each lake along the way. Cross Mapuche land, admiring the mountains covered by dense forests of Cypress and Nothogacea trees. First, make a stop at Lacar Lake and learn about the geography and history of the area. Then, head onwards making stops at the viewpoints of Machonico Lake, Falkner Lake, Villarino Lake, Mirror Lake, Correntoso Lake, and Nahuel Huapi Lake. Then, arrive in Villa La Angostura for a visit to different points of interest. See the ports and bays of Nahuel Huapi, the Quintupuray place, the residence of the Governor called El Messidor and the city center. Have free time to explore the town and to eat lunch. Finally, after 3 hours, return to San Martin de Los Andes, arriving by about 6:30 PM.
