  • Enjoy a guided return boat cruise along Cinque Terre coast from La Spezia
  • Stroll through the narrow streets of Riomaggiore at your own pace
  • Explore Monterosso, the largest village of the Cinque Terre
Full description

Experience the Cinque Terre coast by boat and take in gorgeous views of vineyards terraces and charming buildings from the sea. Make time to stop at Riomaggiore, Monterosso, and Vernazza along the way.

Start at La Spezia's harbor and sail through the Gulf of the Poets admiring the magnificent village of Portovenere and the island of Palmaria from the boat. Reach the first village of Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore, passing by the mesmerizing coastline with its famous terraced vineyard landscape and colorful houses. The city is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Here, visit the imposing church of San Giovanni Battista with your guide and enjoy some free time to stroll through the narrow streets. In Monterosso al Mare, explore the medieval historic center and marvel at the parish church dedicated to St. John, the Baptist. Then continue the sailing to Vernazza, the pearl of the Cinque Terre. Vernazza presents itself to visitors as the prow of a ship: most of the village is in fact built on a small promontory that ends at the sea with an imposing fortification system.

At the end of the tour, enjoy free time and take the chance to taste the local wine and food, or go for a swim in the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean.

Cinque Terre in one day with a visit to three places, a beautiful boat tour and an optional tour guide. We recommend! However, due to its design, the boat 'Lord Byron' sways quite a lot even in medium waves, even at full speed. Therefore not recommended for guests who easily get seasick. But if you sit on the upper deck and look at the sea, it's not a problem and it's fun.

Very well. Little time in the villages you still have to be aware of it: choose between swimming and visits :) It is a quiet day of boat trip which allows you to see the 3 villages from the sea. Top with children of all ages . Departure 10 a.m. return around 6 p.m. A very friendly team welcomes you all along the journey. To do perhaps at the beginning of your stay to know what to expect on the Cinque Terre. It's still a nice little cruise.

Cinque Terre is very impressive and can be seen very well from the boat. Of course, the places are completely overcrowded and one boat after the other stops and unloads tons of tourists! The time to visit each place was relatively short (1-max. 1.5 hours), then we went back to the boat (unfortunately also very full).
