Full description

Head out on a boat trip on a 16-meter maxi-catamaran and admire the La Rochelle coast. Your crew will be able to tell you about the local landscapes and history and also a bit more about the boat itself.

Meet at the dock located in front of the 2 historic towers of La Rochelle. After an introduction, you will sail up the channel, admiring the Richelieu Tower and the harbor of Les Minimes on the way.

Once at sea, the crew will stop the engine and open the sails for you to relax and soak up the views. Enjoy an apéritif if you brought one and take in views of the ocean, enjoying the lights of the end of the afternoon.

Meeting point

The boarding dock is located on Avenue Michel Crépeau across from the Médiathèque of La Rochelle. A pedestrian path with grass and trees runs along the sea. Look for a footbridge walkway. You will find the name Kapalouest written on a door. Please arrive 15 minutes before the activity starts. Wait at the top of the dock. The crew will come and get you.

a super invigorating experience full of sensations which allows you to discover in a few hours what a catamaran is and with additional explanations...as well as the discovery of the surroundings of the coasts of La Rochelle!and all this in a good mood with a small aperitif and the attention paid to the passengers by the staff is at the top! in short! we were 4 girlfriends from Orléans and loved it!!!! it's a change from walks on the Loire!

Departure at 5 p.m. for a mini cruise off La Rochelle. My 8-year-old grandson puts on his life jacket like the other children on board. Thank you to the friendly crew who knew how to maintain a friendly and festive atmosphere between the "travellers" of the catamaran. This will remain a beautiful memory of holidays on the Atlantic coast.
