Travel through local villages, such as Vilaflor, and see magnificent pine forests before going to the plateau of the volcano. Tenerife: Guided Canyoning Experience in Los Arcos

2. Tenerife: Guided Canyoning Experience in Los Arcos

Go on a guided rappelling adventure in Los Arcos Canyon in Tenerife. Learn a new skill as you take in the immense, swooping geological formations surrounding you in the canyon. Learn all about the canyon's geological history from your local guide. Meet your guide, pop on your helmet and harness, and start off with a little hiking route. See and learn about the endemic flora and talk about the history of this iconic location from your local guide. Then, get taught how to rappel before putting your newfound skills to the test on a range of walls created by volcanic ash. Once you reach the first rappel, the fun begins. Descend with ropes through several walls — each one is very different from the other — all of which are made of volcanic ashes. Throughout the tour, be amazed by the scenery that surrounds you, including Los Arcos, which was formed by the erosion of the water that passed through many years ago. Once at your last rappel, embark on another short hike to return to your meeting point.

What people are saying about La Orotava

I would like to say a massive thank you for the company, especially the lady who phoned us because we wasn't in the bus stop, so long story short, we mixed up the days and we thought was next day the trip. But they very helpful and gave us the opportunity to meet the bus at the next stop. We made it Back to the trip! It was very experienced driver called Jorge and the guide, Antonio ( called himself Antonio Banderas), was very funny . The places was amazing, enough time to make "Instagram" photos Highly recommending this trip. Wasn't expensive at all for 2 of us and mainly we drove through the centre of Tenerife and down on the west-south side of the island and the guide gave us loads of very useful information about the island.

unforgettable trip, beautiful views, it's worth going, MASCA's place in the park is really impressive, as well as driving along narrow roads along the serpentines of the park, A bit too little freedom to admire the views at stops, too fast pace at stops, the trip was supposed to start at 8 a.m. before we gathered everyone it started at 9 so we lost 1 hour which would have been useful at the viewpoints. I also do not recommend the proposed restaurant called CARMEN by the guide, The food is nasty, raw, unseasoned (the WORST!) the rest is ok,

Absolutely amazing trip, the best bus driver ever seen, Carlos. The guide spikes fluently English and French and explains very good about all the places we have seen. Program was organised very well with pause to take pictures, have lunch in a nice local restoration or shopping for special local things.

Interesting experience going down in 4-5 canyons about 6-16 meters tall! Some are slippery but this gives more excitement. Overall feels like you will get more, but they quickly ends. The canyons are not so much hard to go down.

Amazing organisation. Highly professional tour guide and driver . Interesting excursion in 3 languages (en / fr / al )
