Fortunately it was a beautifully sunny day so the lake crossing was even more enjoyable. The entire trip from pick-up to drop off was well organized and efficient. The vehicles were new and well maintained and the roads, though not well maintained, were not as bad as I was expecting and I strongly recommend this as the best way to travel between these two cities.

Super efficient. Each step of the journey ran smoothly into the next. The boat part was really relaxing with beautiful views! The drivers were great on some really tricky roads and we stopped for a comfort break halfway on the Monteverde side. Overall a great experience with lovely staff and at an incredible price!

The guy who picked us up at our hotel gave us a number and said it's for the boat. When we arrived at the boats, no one could tell us where to go and what to do. Eventually someone told us to get on a boat that was already full so that we had to squeeze in between people. At the arrival, again, no one there to tell us what to do but we just guessed that the bus would not be waiting for us on a beach. We had to carry up our heavy luggage up to the bus (for which the initial number was actually meant). So much for what the description of the transfer was saying: "we will take care of your luggage all the way"... Well, not really. Fortunately the landscapes were amazing and it was nice to have a break to make pictures. It would have been nicer if there had been some explanations along the way of what we were seeing. All in all "Aventure Transfer" is quite a good name.
