Barcelona is known as the capital of the modernist movement, where the famous architect Antonio Gaudi built one of the big innovations of his time: the Sagrada Familia. You will visit the impressive interior of this church, where the vault reaches seventy meters heigh, to see the extremely rich decoration and symbolism. You will visit also the museum of the Sagrada Familia, where you are able to see sketches and models in plaster. The museum also offers valuable information about Gaudi's life and career. After the visit to the museum, your guide will accompanied you to the elevator to get a better view of the city of Barcelona. Then, you are welcomed on board a sailing boat. Enjoy a trip on the Mediterranean Sea, with a drink in hand. Relax on deck on the sailboat for 1 and a half hours, or dip into the sea if you are feeling brave. Appetisers are included. If you’re visiting Barcelona for the first time, enjoy a comprehensive introduction to Catalonia’s capital during this Segway tour. Once you feel confident, the tour will begin. During your 1-hour tour, you’ll be taken to interesting sites, such as the Barri Gòtic (Gothic quarter), La Cara de Barcelona and Port Vell and the historic harbor of Barcelona. Then your guide will lead you through the Parc de la Ciutadella, the oldest park in the city, built in 1872 by the master architect Josep Fontserè I Mestre. Here you will also see the Fountain Cascada Monumental, designed by Josep Fontseré in 1875, specifically for the universal exhibition in 1888.

On this 1.5-hour tour you’ll explore the sights in Barcelona by Segway. Before you start the tour, you’ll be instructed on the correct use of the Segway for your security. That way you can relax and discover the details of the tour. The tour starts at the Arc de Triomf, traverses through Passeig de Lluís Companys to La Ciutadella Parc, and then continues on to the Christopher Columbus Memorial. You then return alongside the Maremagnum Shopping Center and ride the waterfront towards Barceloneta and the Port Olimpic. There, you enjoy the Mediterranean breeze before you return to the base and conclude the tour.
