Glide down to the old port area of Port Vell, redeveloped as part of an urban renewal program prior to the 1992 Summer Olympics. Stop in front of the monument to Christopher Columbus, built in 1888 to commemorate his first voyage to the Americas. Everything was great, but unfortunately our helicopter flight could not take place because the king was in Barcelona and this was forbidden. But the organizers couldn't do anything about that.

Was a very nice 2 hour sailboat ride with a great view of the entire Barcelona coast. Jorge was a great skipper and would recommend this to everyone!
