San Sebastian: Downtown San Sebastian Exploration Game

1. San Sebastian: Downtown San Sebastian Exploration Game

Discover iconic places in downtown San Sebastian and uncover the secrets behind them in this exploration game played on your phone. Solve challenges and see sights like the city hall, Puente de Santa Catalina, and more. Travel to the bandstand at Alameda del Boulevard to start the game. Your goal: to unravel the tale of a toymaker in search of their true identity. As you solve challenges, the story unfolds and directions on your phone take you to the next location and puzzle to solve. It will take you between 1-1.5 hours but you should explore at your own pace: simply pause the game and resume when you want from the location where you paused it. Play on your own, in a large group, or in several smaller groups that compete against each other before meeting at the final stop of the game, the Bretxa Market, having explored the city and answered the game's challenges!

San Sebastián: City Tour with Pintxos and Wine

2. San Sebastián: City Tour with Pintxos and Wine

Discover the natural beauty of San Sebastián starting at the top of Mount Igueldo, finding the most amazing views of the city. Learn about the history of the Basque Country, the Bay of Biscay, and the role of San Sebastián in all this. Descend Igueldo aboard its wooden funicular, which is more than 100 years old. Get off next to the most photographed sculpture in the city, the Peine del Viento by Eduardo Chillida. Head to the other 'Finis Terrae' of the city, Sagüés and La Zurriola, the epicenter of the surfing scene in San Sebastián. Check out the main hallmarks of the city, its romantic nooks, the palace built for royal summers, the French-influenced, modernist, and rationalist buildings, or more recent architecture such as the Kursaal. Visit the gastronomic epicenter of San Sebastián; Old Town, home to the pintxo bars, the gastronomic Sociedades, and the seasoned locals enjoying the timeless 'Txikiteo' [a sort of uptempo bar-hopping]. Visit three of the most iconic bars to try their three most famous pintxos accompanied by cider, wine, or beer. End with a creamy, sweet artisanal ice cream.
