Full description

Following pickup, begin your day at the Royal Selangor, which features the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world. It is also world-renowned for its high quality and craftsmanship.

On your factory tour, learn about the different processes at this factory such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving. Next, stop at Batik Factory to see how batik is designed and printed. Next, head to the limestone hills of the Batu Caves, comprised of three caverns and several smaller caves. Pass a towering statue of Murugan as you climb 272 steps into a cave shrine, and follow vivid murals of Hindu scripture. Spot the macaques that live on the lush cliff face. End your day on the city outskirts by driving past local villages. The tour ends with a drop-off back at your Kuala Lumpur City Centre hotel.

Were picked up at the hotel on time. Had a very nice lady (Nadia) as a tour guide, very friendly and explained everything well in English. Was very easy to understand. On the way back to the hotel we could decide whether we wanted to go to the hotel or rather to the well-known twin towers to end the evening with a meal.

The guide was very knowledgeable and witty, made the tour entertaining. The batik factory wasn't the engaging but we enjoyed the temple tour and visit to the Royal Selangor factory. The only downside was that the organisers didn't keep time in the morning, as we waited about 45 minutes to 1 hour for others to get to the bus.

You get the transport & a guide on the bus (who repeats himself) who tells u some info, but then on the caves u go by yourself. The batik stop was absolutely not worth it: u get like 2min intro and basicaly u r in a shop, just expected to make a purchase. Overal if u wanna see the batu caves (that r gorgeous), it does the job
