Full description
Experience the tranquil atmosphere and cool climate of the Cameron Highlands on a 12-hour trip from Kuala Lumpur. Known for its tea plantations, orchards, and nurseries, the hill station is a popular getaway for city residents. Stop at a butterfly farm before visiting the Boh Tea Plantation. Make the short climb to the tea center, learn about tea making and local history, and take in stunning views over the valley. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant around noon, and then cool off at a waterfall. Head to a strawberry farm to taste and pick your own fruit (additional fee). Visit a nearby rose garden before the drive back to Kuala Lumpur.

The tour was very well organised. Our guide McPall provided us with plenty of explanations of the places and anecdotes about Malaysian and local culture. Very kind and caring about everyone's needs. Rich and recommended day! It takes about 4 hours to get there. Local lunch in the golf resort restaurant. Everything went very well.

Trip was a long one (4 hours there and 4 hours back) 2 hours of it on a very winding road each way. Driver was great with his driving and informative. Tea plantation was great, and lunch at the golf course was a nice surprise. Didn't think much of the butterflies, strawberry farm and rose garden as I have seen much better.

It is a good trip, well organized. No complaints on the tour operator, the guide was excellent, the bus driver was great too, i salute him for his driving skills, the toad was dangerous. However, I would say i wasn't impressed with the whole Cameron Highlands, nothing special about it. I expected extraordinary nature, but instead got a butterfly farm (where most butterflies were dead), and a bee farm (which i was afraid to go to), a strawberry farm (where we weren't allowed to go in). I would say the nicest place was the tea plantation, but after Sri Lanka and Vietnam it is nothing really. I ticked it off my list but i wouldn't say its a great place to visit.
