Full description

Enjoy an afternoon and evening tour to the dramatic 400-million-year-old Batu Caves and see hundreds of thousands of twinkling fireflies on a boat tour of the Selangor River. Continue to Batu Caves to roam in the prehistoric caves, after a climb of 272 steps. See some Hindu temples established here since the early 1900s, such as the temples of Lord Murugan, Siva, and Ganesh.

Before dinner, visit the Silver Monkey in Kuala Selangor Nature Park. The area is home to some cheeky Silver Leaf Monkeys, which are more friendly and tame than the monkeys at Batu Caves. Head next to Kuala Selangor, one of the most historic and conflicted areas during the early stages of the Malay Sultanate Selangor. It is also famous for its local food Restaurant, where you will enjoy dinner. Choose from a variety of favorite Malaysian dishes. Finally, drive to Kampung Belimbing Fireflies Park. Quietly float out to see the incredible twinkles of the largest fireflies colony in the world. Marvel at the ability of these amazing lightning bugs to synchronize their light patterns before your return to Kuala Lumpur..

When I travel I want to think I am doing the best thing to do in that country or city: for sure this experience gave me this feeling totally. Well organised, perfect time and a lot of informations shared during the trip by our guide (Bala). At the end of the day we wereso tired we slept in the home way route with a big smile on our face.

We absolutely, 100%, enjoyed our tour with Anuar. The Batu Caves were amazing but feeding the monkeys and the fireflies will be a family favorite for a long time. Anuar was a great guide who made sure we learned about Malaysia along the way. He also happily answered our questions.

Such a great tour and would recommend to anyone. First stop was the batu caves, we were given a perfect amount of time to explore and the religious traditions were explained to us. Next up was a monkey sanctuary, got so many photos with the monkeys and was definitely an experience to remember. We then got great seafood at a local restaurant recommended by the host, but was given the opportunity to chose which cuisine we wanted. The highlight was the boat tour, to see the fireflies, we were wary it would not meet our expectations but they were in fact exceeded, was such a surreal experience seeing them light up the trees. Can fully recommend this tour.
