Full description
Learn about Oskar Schindler, a German entrepreneur who saved 1,200 Jews and Holocaust victims during World War II by transferring prisoners to his own factories in Poland and the Czech Republic. Visit Schindler's Villa and see the outside of the Oskar Schindler Enamel Factory. Listen to the story that inspired the book, "Schindler's Ark," as well as Stephen Spielberg's movie, "Schindler's List." Relive the famous scenes from the movie and see where they took place, such as the little courtyard in Kazimierz at Józefa 2 where Mrs. Dresdener took refuge under the stairs.  Throughout the tour, dive deeper into the history of World War II in Poland. Discuss Schindler's impact on the city both in the past and the current day with your guide and get an in-depth look into Schindler's life and character. End your tour at Film Cafe near Schindler's factory, where you can relax with a complimentary tea or coffee. If you choose, you can find out more about Oscar Schindler and explore the museum on your own after the tour.
