This tour was fascinating, we enjoyed every minute of it! Our guide Jacob was passionate, enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable and he spoke with clarity ( didn’t miss a word - brilliant English!). We loved the anecdotal stories about Jacob’s grandparents - they added another dimension to the information we received. The museum is fantastic, but we got so so much more from it with Jacob as our guide!

Firstly the tour guide was incredibly informative and very knowledgable. We was incredibly lucky to have the full attention of the tour guide as there was only my partner and myself on this particular tour. The tour of the factory is predominantly about the lead up to and the ultimate German invasion of krakow and the persecution of the Jews. There is a small amount of time given to Oskar Schindler nearer the end of the tour. So if your only reason in visiting the factory is to find out about Oskar Schindler then be patient and be prepared for a full in depth history lesson first. The guide i found was invaluable. She pointed out the propaganda side of the nazis’s which we wouldn’t of been able to follow the language in the posters. She then would translate it back in to English for us. I would recommend the guided tour first. Which cost £38.52 or 192 zloty. We travelled back 3 days later to travel the factory by ourselves for £12 or 62 zloty. I recommend doing both.

It was excellent. Our guide was very informative. Only negative is that she spoke very fast (I assume due to time constraints) so even though her English was very good her accent sometimes made it hard to figure out what she was saying and missed some of what she was saying. Would have been nice to have slowed down a bit.
