Krakow: Boo! Chills and Thrills Guided Walking Tour

1. Krakow: Boo! Chills and Thrills Guided Walking Tour

The tour starts after the sun goes down...we meet where there once was a medieval cemetery. You'll hear the legends that reveal wherefrom vampires arose to walk this realm. Creeping down the cobbled streets we visit the executioners' house and unriddle some myths about them. You will stand in the spot where grisly public executions were performed and view/inspect a chapel in which the convicts spent their last night on earth hoping for a miracle (which indeed for some lucky souls transpired). We follow the footsteps of a "gentleman" serial killer who revelled in appearing at local shindigs and venture to meet two of Kraków’s best-known ghosts - a lady in black and “The White Lady.” In the end, as the moon climbs high over the city, we'll speak of medieval crimes and punishments in an actual torture chamber. Join us for these bone-chilling frights and spine-tingling delights and don’t worry - we’ll bring the garlic!

The guide has a talent for drama and he is giving everything to make this un unique experience. You are easily swept into the medieval Krakow with every story getting to know the dark past of this centuries old city. You learn about the most significant buildings in a very unconventional way. The stories are authentic and your attention is grabbed all over the journey. In order to squeeze so much into 100min you will have to keep up with Michael's pace. I definitely recommend such way to exlore the old town of Krakow.

I genuinely enjoyed the tour around nigh Karków! Our guide was super friendly and introduced us to some interesting historical and legendary sides of this city along with showing us interiors of some places that hide great historical importance inside. I learned a lot of interesting information about this gorgeous city on the tour.

Really interesting experience and very knowledgeable guide. It was really worth learning the history of the area and it was a really small group tour.

Great way to learn something quickly and cheaply about the city, I don’t believe in ghosts but certainly some creepy information.

Guide was very informative, engaging and the stories were great!!
