Extremely overwhelming, EVERYONE recommends visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau at least once in your life, preferably with a guide. Our guide was incredibly good and gripping. Will be back when my younger children are old enough to take it in. Our driver was also extremely nice, social and caring. 10 out of 10!

Very nice tour and overall it would also deserve 5 stars, the only flaw is that the day before we received an email where they moved the departure time from 9:00 to 10:45, as per request we replied to the email also doing other questions, but having had no answers, we had to call and only in this way we discovered that the tour would start at 08:20 and not at 10: 45…. So if I hadn't phoned how would it have turned out? I would have shown up at 10:45 and there would be no one ... the local transfer manager apologized on the phone because he had sent me a wrong time ... but unfortunately it was the only important thing to write in the email ... so the apologies leave the time they find ... however the tour is really worth the ticket price.

The guide at Auschwitz/Birkenau was excellent. She was so passionate and informative as well as being a local from the same area as the camps. There was alot of hanging around waiting to enter the camps which wasn't the fault of the guide. 2 hours waiting and even then we would've had to wait another half an hour on top so we were taken to see the Birkenau camp 1st then back to Auschwitz after. By this time it was 5pm as we entered the Auschwitz camp. We did the Salt Mine in the morning (also waiting for 45 minutes to enter), but very good. A very long day that I'm sure could have been shortened if we weren't made to wait around for so long to get into the sites
