What a breathtaking experience. The guide was undoubtedly remarkable on this day. I've always read books and watched movies about the days in these camps but nothing prepared me for what I saw there! Definitely a visit not to be missed regardless of how long you are going to be in Krakow, take 1 day to come on this visit.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the place and has a lot of great insights so I'll give 9/10 to him. However, I wasn't expecting the waiting time to be about an hour. We arrived at 11:20 but the tour started at around 12:10. I hoped that the organizers could have been more clear from the beginning when the actual tour starts. It would've also been good if they have mandated the use of masks inside the van; a group that we are with were talking and eating inside the van (eating wasn't allowed inside btw!) for the whole duration of our trip to and from Auschwitz.

We can not recommend our guide Simon enough. Simon is so passionate and has a deep knowledge of the place. Thanks to Simon the experience of visiting this place of human horror was not only a visit, it was a unique historical journey. If you ever use this service ask for Simon. Thank you again
